Sun Ram 11 2wd Rolling Road Dyno - unfinished project, priced cheap to clear

Due to limitations in workshop space, lots of 2020 orders for our new ADS dyno chassis, our own software and fan design development, we have decided to give an opportunity to a DIY enthusiast to finish this project.

Sun Ram Chassis benefits from:

1. Optimised roller spacing for greater ground clearance, stability

2. Upgraded old bearings to brand new pillow blocks

3. Knurled rollers for extra traction

4. Tidied up aesthetics of the main chassis frame

5. New fasteners, new taper lock bushes for the couplings

6. Adjustable feet installed for ease of installation

7. Chassis cover frame and retarder cover included

8. Roller and retarder shaft position is pre-aligned using SKF Laser alignment tool and marked with split pin slots for ease of assembly

9. Fabricated New solid load cell arm

Chassis require:

1. Retarder inspection, due to light bearing knocking noise

2. Retarder longevity could be improved by inspecting the coils and possibly degreasing the coil surface from inside.

3. To completely modernise the chassis - chassis reinforcements are required as RAM11 rollers are known for flexing at higher speeds.

4. Note: coupling is disconnected at the point of taking pictures as we are awaiting on a taperlock bushes to arrive and can be assembled and aligned at the point of collection.
